Make Money Blogging: WordPress Plugins for Advertising
WordPress is a blogging platform that can be used quite effectively to generate revenue on a recurring basis. This can be achieved by selling ad space to advertisers. However, adding, replacing and rotating individual ads can turn out to be quite a time consuming and cumbersome task for even the most advanced and experienced blogger. Luckily, a large number of freely available plugins makes this job a whole lot easier, saving valuable time and effort which allows bloggers to focus more on producing new content for their blogs and still make money blogging. Although this plugin limited to 125×125 ads, as the name suggests, it makes up for it by providing scheduling and tracking features. It inserts an Ads menu into the WordPress admin menu which makes it even easier to manage ads. Ads can be inserted for a specified number of days and are automatically disabled upon expiry with the option to notify the user by sending an email. WP125 also allows the user to select the order in which ads are displayed and can also display them randomly.

I’ve recently been using WP Traffic Tools to handle my wordpress ad management, but I hear there is a stripped down version of it called TBAP that sales for 10.00 (whereas WPTT is 57). With it I’m able to control my ad placement to the T… placing ads by keywords detected in content, by keywords detected in referring url, by category, by post id, etc. Hope this helps…
